 The Share/Care Program of the Holy Childhood Association is a general fund for assisting with the current needs of children in over 100 countries. Some schools and religious education programs raise funds for children in the missions in programs of their own design such as: • a walk-a-thon • a popcorn Sale • a donut sale • and numerous other activities. They do this outside of the seasonal programs of Extra Mile, Advent (Hope House), and Lent. Other programs do an on-going daily collection and send their sacrifices to the HCA office each month. If money is received in the HCA Program and not accompanied by an indication of what it is to be used for, it becomes part of the general category titled Share/Care.
